  1. Place the peeled, cored, and quartered apples into a large pot. Add water and orange juice. Let them boil for 20' until the apples are tender.
  2. Let them cool. Purée them using a blender.
Recipe Notes

Select the right apples for the Applesauce, use sweet apples.

This is a smart way to use the bruised, overripe apples. Make this applesauce recipe using the not-so-great apples and reduce your food waste!

Substitute apple sauce for the eggs in cakes (1/4 cup Applesauce = 1 egg), in order to veganize your favorite cake recipes.

It can be stored it in a bowl, covered in the fridge for 3-4 days.

When boiling add your favorite spices; you can add 3-4 whole cloves or 1 cinnamon stick. It goes well this raisins and nuts for breakfast.
